The Mediterranean's first floating meteorological mast has completed a four-month trial in the Aegean Sea off Greece.

In May 2019, Carl C A / S delivered a 30m prototype MET mast to FloatMast Ltd. This was installed in 65 meters of water outside the island of Makronisos and in 4 months it has collected 120 "streams" of data: wind, waves, weather and ship traffic.

This could be of great importance for future Aegean wind projects.
