 Working environment and business ethics

  Suppliers

Carl C. A/S primarily utilizes Danish and Scandinavian suppliers. The company emphasizes a limited but stable number of suppliers, as they operate in Denmark and Scandinavia, and all meet current and future market and societal requirements. This includes:

  • Zero tolerance for forced labor and child labor, corruption, and bribery.
  • Ensuring compliance with all rules regarding labor rights, health, and safety.
  • Continuously making necessary improvements regarding environmental pollution - at least within the applicable legislation and with a focus on further optimization beyond legal requirements.
  • Ensuring that their subcontractors also adhere to these expectations.

Carl C. A/S places great importance on maintaining ongoing contact with all our suppliers and conducts at least one annual visit to our major suppliers to ensure they meet our corporate ethics.

Working environment and environmental policy

As a company, Carl C. A/S relies on skilled and committed employees. It is crucial for the company to attract and, more importantly, retain these employees. Therefore, it is important for Carl C. A/S to create a work environment based on mutual trust, cooperation, and respect. This includes:

- Equality: We are all equal and have the same rights in the workplace, regardless of the work we perform and regardless of nationality, gender, age, religion, and political beliefs.

- Zero tolerance for forced labor and child labor, corruption, and bribery.

- Providing good conditions for compensation, working hours, sick leave, parental leave, and maternity leave.

Several of our customers have stringent requirements for corporate ethics, and we naturally comply with all of them.

Carl C. A/S and its employees do their absolute best to ensure that it is a safe and secure workplace by always staying up-to-date with workplace safety and health.

One of the ways we actively work to improve the work environment is by conducting monthly safety inspections. These inspections allow us to identify potential risks and ensure that all work areas comply with applicable safety standards.

We believe that our employees' knowledge and experience are invaluable resources in creating a healthy work environment. Therefore, we actively involve our employees in the decision-making process, especially when it comes to matters affecting their daily working conditions. We encourage open communication and listen to employees' input to ensure that decisions are made with their best interests in mind.
